Welcome to VfMH


VfMH is a small charity based in the UK. We send volunteers to work in the psychiatric section of Tarnaveni Hospital in Transylvania, Romania, to provide a programme of therapeutic activities for long-term patients.






We aim to send volunteers every January, April, July and October to join a small team of volunteers to work in the hospital on placements ranging from two to six months and are open to applications all year round.

 

We are currently recruiting for placements starting March 2012 onwards

Although we aim for 6 month placements, VfMH would still like to speak to you if you are able to offer a minimum of two months
